GO RUN FOR FUN
The Great Mini Run is proud to be part of the GO Run For Fun (GRFF) campaign, sponsored by INEOS, which inspires children to be more active through well-organised short distance running events.
Since the campaign began in 2013 GRFF has seen over 85,000 children take part in the short distance running events organised as part of the campaign. GRFF also try to educate, excite and engage with children through their schools and are working towards educating our younger generation about how important it is to have a healthy lifestyle. Recently launching Dart TV on their website, this includes 12 funny and educational videos of the mascot Dart teaching children about topics such as hydration, nutrition and team work.
The GRFF team travel all over Canada to host these events. Whether it is a school, athletics club or local park they are all FREE and open to ages between 5-11 years old. In 2015 the campaign has hosted the second year of their International Tour visiting Germany, Switzerland and Belgium and have also introduced France to the mix. The team went global in March reaching as far as Houston, Texas.
