Don't miss your chance to see the world’s best cyclists battle it out at the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey Classic on Sunday 30 July 2017. Britain’s greatest one-day bike race will see 150 of the world’s top pro cyclists take on a 200km route through London and Surrey.

Event Description:

 

The route is a variation on the London 2012 Olympic Road Cycling Race route. It will follow a similar route as the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 sportive.

The race, which has been awarded UCI WorldTour status, offers the highest prize money pool of any one-day Classic and will be televised live by BBC Sport. Teams and riders will be announced in July 2017.

 

Boonen snatches Classic victory

In a field which featured Tour de France winner Chris Froome, Tom Boonen showed why he is one of the greatest one-day racers of his generation with a perfect finish to win the 2016 Prudential RideLondon-Surrey Classic.

 

Show your support

The race will see 25 teams of six riders start on Horse Guards Road in St James’s Park at 13:30 on Sunday 30 July 2017 and stream west through the capital, offering spectators a variety of great opportunities to support their cycling heroes along the route.

One option for cycling fans is to head to the start area on Horse Guards Parade next to St James’s Park, where spectators will be able to see the pro riders signing in and putting the finishing touches to their preparation ahead of the race. The race will also be televised live on the BBC and shown on a big screen in Green Park.
